Shurflo Bait Sentry 500
May 30, 2003 Pump is noisy again. Apparently the vibration is bad enough that the foam block is not enough. Replaced with Shurflo Piranha 700gph pump. Went ahead and reconnected directly to the seacock again. Purchased a spare pump cartridge.

Shurflo Bait Sentry
After 15 months of quiet operation, the Bait Sentry 500 started becoming extremely noisey. Clearly audible even over the engine exhaust while idling. 		The original installation had the pump connected directly to the thru-hull seacock. Isolated the pump by mounting it on a block of foam, then reconnected the pump using reinforced vinyl hose to the thru-hull. Noise level very low.
