What a great classic Skiff.  I am having mine built now by Roth Boat Builders.

The skiff should be finished soon.  I’ll post when I get her in the water.  Could be a while,  looks like a long winter here in the northeast.

Very nice! Any more progress photos? Where are the hulls made? Website?

The hull looks very similar to the George Greenough skiffs made in Central California. When (and if) I ever get around to replacing Toy Boat 2, I’m looking at a 17’ Greenough.

I am hoping to get the boat wet in the next couple of weeks.  I will have some new photos then.  Check out the website at http://www.nantucketskiff.com    They are raffling a boat off this spring.  Roth Boat builders are located about 35 south of Boston, Ma. towards Cape Cod.  I am not familiar with the boat you mentioned but will check it out.
