Offshore Angler (AKA Bass Pro Shops)
|
If you can find what you want, great pricing, usually excellent inventory.
Excellent customer service. Will match pricing with Cabela's.

Bob Marriott's Fly Fishing
|
You won't find many bargains at fly fishing stores, and Marriott's is no
exception. But they have excellent selection and service, and the staff are
experts.

Melton International Tackle
|
Offshore tuna & billfish specialists. Reasonable pricing, knowledgeable
staff

|
Boating

West Marine
|
Everyone who owns a boat should have their print catalog. Extensive list of
products, lots of great articles. Their web site mirrors the print catalog, but
can be a bit hard to locate items. Pricing may seem high, but they will
match advertised pricing from competitors. Just don't expect them to offer to
do it.

|
Boaters' World
|
Boaters' World has as good a selection of products as West Marine, at slightly
lower prices. But on orders over $100, you pay no sales tax and get free
shipping on most items. No informational articles in their catalog.

Bass Pro Shops Marine Catalog
|
See comments on Offshore Anglers. The focus is mostly on inshore/East Coast.

D&B Marine Electronics & Supplies
|
The site's not pretty, but the pricing is. Consistently some of the lowest
prices around.

Dave's Marine Electronics
|
This is a very small operation, but the pricing is very good, and he delivered
on everything he promised.
